Preliminary investigation of insecticidal plant resource in Fujian Province

Insecticidal plant resource is abundant in Fujian Province. There are 107 species under 53 families, in which 8 species of Compositae; 7 species of Leguminosae and Euphorbiaceae, respectively; 4 species of Celastraceae, Polygonaceae, Labiatae and Solanaceae, respectively. Among them, over 10 species, such as Melia azedaroch, Celastrus anguletus, Derris trifoliata, Sophora flavescens, Rhododendron molle, Strophanthus divaricatus, etc. are of great development value. Suggestions for further study and rational development of these resources are also proposed.
