Abstract

To observe the clinical efficacy of the combination of traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine on pulmorary heart disease at acute attack stage. Methods 113 patients with pulmorary heart disease were randomly divided into two groups. 52 patients in cortrol group were treated by routine western medicine; 62 patients in treatment group, based on the treatment in control group, were treated with Astragalus membranaceus injection,Houttuynia cordata injection and Tetramethylpyrazine injection, infused by intravenous drip ,once a day, with a treatment course of ten days for both groups. Results The total effective rate was 93.54% in treatment group, and 70.49% in control group, there was significant difference between the two groups. The whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and fibrinogen were improved significantly after treatment in treatment group (P0.01), as well the RBC agrregation index and hematokrit (P0.05), there were significant differences between the two groups(P0.05 or P0. 01) . Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine is effctive in treating pulmorary heart disease.
