Abstract
The region of upper Lanzhou is main runoff-producing area in Yellow river basin, and the base-flow plays an important role in the runoff. The base-flow of the upper reaches has been decreasing obviously because of change of climate and effects of human activities in the recent years, it has great influence on the decrease of the runoff of Yellow river. Therefore, it will be important to research the variations of base-flow in the region. In this paper, the base-flow of the area including main streams is calculated. Combined with the local topography and hydrogeology condition, the variations of base-flow of these rivers and influence factors are analyzed, and influence of variation of base flow on water resources of Yellow river is also analyzed.
