The Present Study on Productive Process of Lactide

Abstract
Lactide is the intermediate for preparing of polylactic acid from lactic acid.The yield of lactide is the key factor to influence the extensive production and low the cost of polylactic acid.In this paper,the structure of lactic acid and lactide are reviewed,and processes to synthesize lactide from lactic acid and factors to influence the yield of lactide are discussed. Based on the above, several methods of improving the yield of lactide are brought forward.
