On the Evolvement of the Social Status of the Family of Power

The family of power and influence was playing a very important role on the political stage during the periods of the Three Kingdoms,the Jin Dynasty,the Northern and Southern Dynasties and the Sui and Tang Dynasties. In the middle period of the Eastern Han Dynasty,the family of power and influence had monopolized the official career.The system of nine ranks established during Wei(220-265) ensured the political provileges and helped the formation of the family of power and influence.The family and its domination reached the prime from the Eastern Jin Dynasty through the early days of the Northern and Southern Dynasties.From the late days of the Southern Dynasty,the institution of the family waned in power.During the Sui and Tang Dynasty,the family of the power stepped down from the stage of history.
