Abstract

The effects of total aluminium concentration and basicity on aluminium species component of polyaluminium chloride (PAC) were studied when polyaluminium chloride was made by instantaneous injection in laboratory. It was shown that with the increase of the basicity, the content of Al c almost didnt change in the lower total aluminium concentration while the content of Alc increased apparently in the higher one.At the same time, with the increase of the basicity, the content of Al b increased apparently in the lower total aluminium concentration while the content of Al b decreased gradually in the higher one.In addition, the contents of Al a in both of PACs of the lower and higher total aluminium concentration decreased distinctly.
