Abstract
The effects of sowing time and plant density on the yield, growth period and plant characters and of millet variety Changnong No.35 were studied using the two-factor split-plot design. The results showed that the effect of sowing time on the growth period was great. The plant density had no influence on the growth period with same sowing time. The interaction between sowing date and plant density had great influence on the yield and plant characters. The yield was the highest with the optimum sowing time of May 15,and plant density of 450 000 plants/hm2.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
