Abstract
In Xinxian high pressure ultrahigh pressure metamorphic zone of the west ern Dabie orogenic zone of China many types of eclogites have distributed. The study shows that they have all experienced the same epidote amphibolite facies metamorphism although their peak metamorphic conditions are different. Their peak metamorphic ages are very close and they have similar retrogressive metamorphism paths. The formation and exhumation of eclogites might be related to continent continent collision between the north China paleoland and the Yangtze paleoland in the end of early Ordovician.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
