Abstract

The university mathematical teaching in the 21st century should adapt to the development of(science) and technology.Its aim is to educate high-quality and creative talents.The mathematical modeling activity is springing up vigorously in universities,which provides vital force and energy for the university mathematical teaching.This paper expounds the meaning of mathematical modeling and mathematical modeling teaching in university,then discusses the significance and function of developing mathematical modeling teaching in university,and puts forward effective way and method for how to develop mathematical modeling teaching in university.
