Study on the Effects of Chitosan Flocculant on Performance of Sludge Dewatering

Chitosan flocculant sludge has significant effect on dewatering properties and can be used as a non-toxic.It is usually used sewage as dewatering additives.Based on sludge sewage treatment plant,this paper studies chitosan flocculant sludge dewatering properties.Preliminary experimental results show that addition of 100 mL 6g/L for 6mL chitosan solution in the sludge concentration of malign can be achieved when the minimum moisture content,as the sludge 70.42%.Sludge organic matter content,moisture content,and SV30 with flocculant dosing quantity increased after first decreases elevated.
