Abstract
Objective:To explore the significance of the changes of vaginal lactobacilli in normal pregnant women and those with bacterial vaginosis(BV).Methods:Lactobacilli species were identified by use of biochemical method, acquired the distribution of lactobacillus in the vagina of pregnant women, compared ability of producing H2O2.Result:The frequency of isolation for H2O2-positive lactobacilli in vagina of health pregnant women was significantly higher than vaginas of BV;The presence of H2O2-positive lactobacilli in the vagina of pregnant women was associated with a reduced risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes.Conclusion:H2O2-positive lactobacilli play an important role in prevention from vaginal infections and adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women.
