Virtual instrument and its application in biomedical engineering

Abstract

This article introduces the concept of virtual instrument(VI),the components of a virtual instrument system and the comparison between traditional instrument and virtual instrument firstly.Then,the application of virtual instrument in the field of biomedical engineering is presented to the readers.A prospect of virtual instrument as well as its application in the medical instrument field is given at the end of this paper.
