Vulgar characters of Tang(唐) dynasty are kept not only in Dun Huang(敦煌 )steamed roll,but also exist on the stone inscriptions.Epitaphs of Tang(唐) dynasty,as unearthed artifacts, whave a big quantity,and vulgar characters can be found on almost every epitaph.As a result, Epitaphs of Tang(唐) dynasty are regarded as the important materials on researching on vulgar characters of Tang(唐) dynasty.In many collections of epitaph copies,there is much misunderstood recognizing of vulgar characters on epitaph in Tang(唐) dynasty,which needs our attention.
