Abstract

The main causes of water pollution in the main stream of the Huaihe River are analyzed, and the joint control of pollution of the Huaihe River and the Shayinghe River is introduced, including the main process, contents, the effect produced, etc. It is emphasized that pollution source control is the fundamental measures for water pollution remediation, and that the joint control of pollution is only an assistant means for the alleviation of pollution harm.
