Survey and Analysis of Amphibian Diversity in Dawangling Nature Reserve of Guangxi,China

Abstract

A survey on the diversity of amphibian in Dawangling Nature Reserve of Guangxi was carried out in August,2007.The results showed that 18 species of amphibians,belonging to 12 genera,6 families,2 orders,were recorded in the reserve. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index and Pielou evenness index were 2.4842 and 0.8768 respectively.The amphibian fauna and its diversity in the reserve were analyzed and some protective suggestions were provided.
