Abstract
The total area of Hangzhou international conference center is 117350m2. There are large communal aera, large meeting rooms, guest rooms and entertainment hall in this building. Since the function of Hangzhou international conference center is complex ,the existing build code isn' t suitable for evaluating the structural fire safety of the building. In this paper the evalution of the structural fire safety of Hangzhou international conference center is based on fire-resistance performance of the structure. At first the target of structural fire-resistance is determined. Then the behavior of structural members are analyzed in the most severe fire scenery. Finally the evaluation of structural fire-resistance and design of fire insulation are based on meeting the requirement of structural fire-resistance. The conclusions of this paper are adopted by building owner and fire bureau and can be referenced by other similar projects.
