Abstract
Ultrafine CdS particles are successfully prepared by low temperature solid state reaction of Cd-(OAc)_2·2H_2O and Na_2S·9H_2O under ultrasonic airflow, and the yield reaches kilograms. The crystal structure, particlesize and morphology of the ultrafine particles are characterized by XRD,laser diffraction particle size analyzer,SEM and TEM.The results indicate that the prepared particles mean size is about 10 nm,particles shape are spherical and particles reunite obviously. The formation mechanism of ultrafine particles is also discussed.
