Abstract
Different technologies of seawater desalination were briefly described,and developing status and limitations of traditional and novel technologies for seawater desalination were analyzed.It's point out that the membrane technology for seawater desalination has strong antipollution ability,high water flux and high rejection efficiency of sodium chloride,and the integrated seawater desalination technology is the research tendency.
