Relationship between expression of CD_(44)V_6 in gastric carcinoma and survival

Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of CD_(44)V_6 in gastric cancer and precancerous tissue and analyze its relationship with clinical pathology as well as survival rate of patients. Method The expression of CD_(44)V_6 in 92 gastric cancer patients and 30 people with normal gastric mucosa tissue was detected by immunohistochemical method.Results The expression of CD_(44)V_6 was closely correlated with pathogenesis,differentiation and metastasis of gastric cancer,but not correlated with patients'sex,age,size of tumor and types of tumor pathology (P＞0.05).Conclusion There is close relationship between the expression of CD_(44)V_6 and biological behavior of gastric cancer.By analyzing the expression of CD_(44)V_6 in occurrence, development and metastasis of gastric cancer,doctors will find cancer earlier and probe into its pathogenesis,and it will be a beneficial assistance for clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer in the future.
