Abstract
In phonetic teaching at college ,suprasegmental phonemes training is very important, including stress, rhythm, intonation, etc. Besides,the paper shows the relation between English and Chinese which has a positive impact on our phonetic study. It also proposes some pragmatic ways of solution to the phoneic teaching.
