Abstract

Among schools of Chinese ancient novels, the genius and beauty novels of the Ming and Qing dynasties has the most evident structural features and the most far-reaching influence on Chinese national mentality, so that they become the object of research by scholars. Since 1980s, the research on this type of novels has made great achievements in cause of rising, connotation of thought, feature of art and type of personality.
