Abstract
Objective:To compare the heat-sensitive moxibustion for treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia(PTN) of quantitative moxibustion in clinical effect.Methods:63 cases of PTN were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 32 cases in the test group and 31 cases in the control group. Both of the two groups were using heat-sensitive moxibustion, the test group with heat-sensitive moxibustion sensation disappeared as the standard, while the control group,15min each time, for 35 times. Both groups were observed before and after treatment. The curative effect, visual analog scale(VAS), headache and quality of life questionnaire(MSQ) inventory score changes were observed. Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was 78.13%,compared with the control group(41.94%),the curative effect of treatment group had significant difference(P0.01),the difference of the VAS score in treatment group was statistically significant(P0.05),and there were obvious differences in the score of functional limitations, dysfunction and emotion(MSQ)(P0.01,P0.05).Conclusion:Xiaomin saturated amount of moxibustion treatment of trigeminal nerve is superior to that of traditional moxibustion therapy volume, heat-sensitive moxibustion time differs from patient to patient.Xiaomin quantitative heat-sensitive moxibustion is one of the key factors to obtain the best curative effect.
