The Function of Marine Sports in Strengthening National Ocean Consciousness

In order to strengthen the national ocean consciousness,through using the methods of documentation,field research,expert interview methods,logical analysis and other research methods,the paper demonstrates the effect of marine sports,which the national ocean consciousness is strengthened by marine sports,parses the concept and connotation of the ocean consciousness,analyzes attributes and meaning of marine sports,and explores the relationship between ocean consciousness and marine sports.The results show that marine sports play a positive role in cultivating marine emotion,forming the consciousness of the ocean eco-environment protection,popularizing the knowledge of ocean,cultivating marine history cultural consciousness,creating marine talents,enhancing consciousness of ocean science and technology,exploiting marine resources,strengthening the consciousness of marine economy,preserving rights and interests of ocean,and strengthening the consciousness of marine homeland.It is essential for developing the marine sports to achieve strategic goals ofbuilding of marine powerful nation.
