Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of mifepristone on the human uterine leiomyoma cells in vitro. Methods :Human uterine leiomyoma cells were treated with mifepristone at different concentrations and the growth of the cells was analyzed by plotting cell growth curve and MTT assay. Results:Lower concentration of mifepristone had no inhibitory effect on the human uterine leiomyoma cells, The effect developed when the concentration was up to 16 -6 mol/L,and the inhibitory effect of mifepristone became more significant with the increase of the concentration. Conclusions:The effect of mifepristone on human leiomyoma cells in vitro is concentration-dependent.
