Abstract
Objective To establish a ribosome sequencing method for idnentifying clinical unidentifiable bacteria and fungi. Methods Amplification and sequencing of 16S rRNA gene of bacteria and internal transcribed spacer 2(ITS2)region of fungi were performed using respective universal primers.Searches of current nucleotide databases in GenBank were carried out with the BLAST algorithm. Results There 21 clinical common bacterial and 8 fungal isolates were accurately identified.Six clinical rare bacterial and fungal isolates were detected. Conclusions Ribosome sequencing is realiable for diagnosis of clinical unidentifiable bacteria and fungi.
