On the Reform and Development of English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

It proposes that the reform in vocational English teaching should be on the cultivating aim, the course design, the teaching mode, the teaching evaluation and the teacher training of the course, combined with the industry feature and the vocational needs. It also should focus on how to enhance the learners' ability to apply English, so as to reflect the practicability and utility of English education in vocational and technical colleges.
