Clinical Application of Micro-implant Anchorage in Orthodontic

Objective: To investigate the clinical application and effect of micro-implant anchorage in orthodontics.Methods: Eleven cases with indications of maximum anchorage requirements were selected and conducted the micro-implant anchorage appliance therapy from June 2008 to February 2011,all documents were retrospectively analyzed.Results: All patients reached correction target after orthodontic treatment,and the results were satisfactory.Conclusion: Micro-implant anchorage,as a solid intraoral anchorage,could fully address the exist problems in clinical anchorage and achieve treatment goals and effects that is difficult for traditional method.
