Abstract
The research in leakage characteristics of scroll compressors in the past few years was reviewed over.The concept of micro scroll compressor was put forward,it focuses on the theoretical calculation of the leakage in a micro scroll compressor.The leakage and related factors was analyzed with a simplified model, the affected performance resulted from gas loss was discussed due to both leakages from radial and axial directions in micro scale compressors.The discussion and related results are helpful to determine some parameters in design and manufacture of micro scroll compressors.
