Abstract
Objective To probe into the diagnosis and treatment of congenital renal arteriovenous fistula. Methods The renal arteriovenous fistula was diagnosed on DSA renal arteriography in 3 cases and were treated by superselective renal thrombosis. Results The diagnosis of congenital renal arteriovenous fistula was accurately made on DSA.Treatment of the fistula was achieved through superselective thrombosis with good results. No renal vascular hypertension has been observed.Differential diagnosis between congenital and secondary renal arteriovenous fistula was discussd. Conclusions DSA is believed to be the best diagnostic method of congenital renal arterivenous fistula.Superselective renal artificial thrombosis is safe and effective for both the retain of renal function and the treatment of renal arteriovenous fistula.
