Abstract

A large number of shaking table tests were performed on model buildings with lead rubber bearing and fixed base. The experimental results of the two models are presented and compared in this paper. The results show that the lead rubber bearing is very effective in reducing the seismic response and dissipating the input energy of the superstructure.
