A Survey of Mining Frequent Patterns in Data Streams

Recently,stream data mining has been a hot topic in data mining.The research work of mining stream data includes multiple directions and mining frequent patterns has been one of the most important aspects due to its widespread application in network exception detection,click-stream analysis and sensor network,etc.This paper introduces the concepts and relevant knowledge of mining frequent patterns in data streams and focuses on the processing model and algorithms it uses.The introduction of algorithms is divided into two parts.The first part describes the classification of the algorithms and the other one gives detail analysis for specific algorithm.Finally,several issues about mining frequent patterns are discussed.
