Preliminary Investigation of Natural Regeneration of Masson Pine Population in Closing the Land for Reforestation Area

Abstract

By the investigation of natural regeneration of Masson pine in the closing the land for reforestation area,the results showed that Masson pine has a strong ability of regeneration in suitable cutting blank.The important environ-ment factor affecting regeneration is the coverage of shrub and grass.In a cutting blank,15-20trees remained in each hectare can give a good natural regeneration in the investigated area.
