Classification and Evaluation of Water Producing Gas Wells in Low Permeability Gas Reservoir Based on Grey Correlation Analysis

Abstract

Daniudi Gas Field was a typical low porosity and low permeability gas reservoir,the rational classification and evaluation of its gas wells with water production provided a theoretical basis for further understanding and development of gas field.The geology feature and production characteristics of the gas field were summarized,the evaluation indicators were selected,based on production data and geological parameters of 13 gas wells,the gray correlation analysis method was used to calculate the weight coefficient of each indicator,the influence of indicators on gas well production was quantified,sorting results were coincidence with the actual situation.On the basis stated,in combination with the evaluating indicators,the comprehensive evaluation values of wells are calculated,according to the difference between the values,the gas wells are divided into three categories,with the actual situation,various types of wells are evaluated and the corresponding production methods are presented.
