Abstract

The dehydration reaction of Cl2·2{(CH2)6N4}·4H2O was studied by TG-DTG technique. The compound substance was attributed through Vario EL elemental analyzer. The process of dehydration reaction was analyzed by using the thermogravimetric analysis. The activation energy of the dehydration reaction was calculated by means of the Freeman-Carroll and the Coats-Redfern methods respectively which reached the same results. It is found that the compound is dehydrated in temperature from 44 ℃ to 82 ℃,losing 10 molecules water. The apparent activation energy is 81.9~91.4 kJ·mol-1.The level of this dehydration reaction is n=0.67.The process go easily because of the low reaction energy.
