General Study of Grammar Translation Teaching and Communicative Teaching Methods in English Teaching

Abstract

Grammar Translation Teaching and Communicative Teaching Methods are two main methods in English Teaching. In China, compared with Communicative Teaching method, traditional Grammar Teaching Method is more widely used. In this paper, the two methods are analyzed with details. In the end, it is pointed out that Communicative Teaching Method should be popularized.
