Abstract
The development and eruption of teeth have their own time and sequence. As to the eruption time, retention or premature loss of the deciduous teeth will affect the occlusal relationship of the secondary teeth.Especially, with the time of loss and different places of the permanent teeth in the jaw, eruption time of the secondary teeth would also be greatly different.Besides, the eruption time of the individuals could also be affected by other factors, such as race, geographical region. As to the eruption sequence, genetic factors or obstruction in the replacement between the primary and secondary teeth also could affect the eruption sequence of the permanent teeth. It is manifested by the clinical observations that there are many new currents in the eruption of permanent teeth among the children. Therefore, understanding of the regular rule and the possible abnormal circumstances of dental substitution is very important for keeping oral and systemic health of the adolescence.
