Abstract
The fractured tight gas reservoirs is typical narrow mud weight window formation.Lost circulation, overflow, well-kick accompanied with lost circulation and other borehole problems are frequent during conventional drilling. In order to solve the technical problem, precise managed pressure drilling technology was applied in well X5. By using the annulus pressure monitoring system, automatic back pressure adjustment equipment and alternating the drilling parameters, the balance between down-hole pressure and formation pressure in different conditions was achieved. The results show that precise managed pressure drilling technology can rapidly detect and solve the borehole problems, decrease well control risk, obtain good formation protection results, successfully completed the tasks.
