Monitoring and evaluation of current water quality in Fenjiang River in Foshan

Through monitoring and analysis current water quality of four sections in Fenjiang River in Foshan during dry period,average period and flood period in 2005,and adopting the method of comprehensive pollution index to evaluate current water quality in Fenjiang River,We presented the characteristics of water quality pollution of Fenjiang River,the main pollutants and the tendency of time-space variation of water quality pollution,and thus provided the scientific basis for comprehensive control of Fenjiang River.
