Abstract
With a kind of copper-cobalt ore from Jilin Province as raw material,a copper-cobalt bulk concentrate was obtained after flotation process. Then,a combined process consisting of sulphating roasting and two-stage leaching was adopted to recover copper and cobalt, with emphasis on probing effects of adding method and dosage of roasting additive,as well as particle size of sample on the leaching rate of copper and cobalt. In the test, with 6% sodium sulfate in liquid form as roasting additive,a roasting process at a temperature of 610 ℃ for 80 min followed by 1st-stage leaching with water at room temperature for 60 min and 2nd-stage leaching with 10% sulfuric acid at a temperature of 80 ℃ for 60 min, with liquid /solid ratio of 1 + 4,resulted in leaching rates of cobalt copper and nickel at 86. 42%,98. 26% and60. 01%,respectively.
