Civil Society": A Transformation from Hegel to Marx

Abstract

Civil Society is a prominent concept in the theory of Hegelism and Marxism.Hegel's Civil Society Theory has its advantages,as well as its disadvantages,but it is a theory base for Marx to study the Civil Society.The critism and reform of Marx for Hegel's Civil Society is the road towards the materialistic conception of history.Marx accomplished two fundmental transformations:one is from spiritualism to materialism,the other is from nationalism to communism.
