Abstract
This paper reports the fabrication of silver ion selective electrodes based on three calixarene derivatives as ionophores. The electrode based on calixarene substituted bis(benzothiazolyl) groups with DBP as plasticizer shows excellent potential response within 10 -1 ~10 -5 mol·L -1 concentrations of AgNO 3 solution, and highly selectivity for silver ion over alkali, alkline earth and common transition metal ions. The silver ion selective electrode is used as an indicator electrode in titration of halide ions with silver ion.
