The Basic Features of the Folk Religious Culture Between Taiwan and the Mainland

The folk religious culture of between Taiwan and the mainland, as an ingredient of the Chinese culture, has evolved the following five basic features, influenced by some peculiar historical events and unique geographical conditions:the same origin and the same source, complication and diversification, being maritime, universality and non-systematicness. Those features will exert positive effect on the great task—the unification of China.
