Abstract

Objective To investigate relationship among clinical manifestation, characteristics of CT and prognosis in patients with cerebral infarction due to diabetes. Methods 32 patients with cerebral infarction due to diabetes were experimental group, and 113 patients with cerebral infarction in control group didn't have diabetes. The clinical manifestation, characteristics of CT, the prognosis and fatality rate in experimental group were compared with them in control group. Results Compared with patients in control group, the patients with cerebral infarction due to diabetes had high fatality rate, and their prognosis was poor. Conclusions For patients with cerebral infarction due to diabetes, a good method of preventing the cerebral infarction is controlling the level of blood sugar infectively.
