Abstract

By utlizing MATLAB,the nonlinear behaviors of compound pendulum are simulated and analyzed in three cases: the oscillation without force or damping,the damped oscillation without force,and the forced oscillation with damping.And it is showed the complexity of compound pendulum's oscillation.
