Oil-gas plays characteristics analysis of Wu-xia fault belt,the northwestern margin in Junggar Bain

According to oil-gas play theory,the oil-gas play characteristics and oil accumulation zone were studied by the oil-source comparing,reservoir characters,capping formations and oil-gas reservoir characters analysis of Wu-xia fault belt,the northwestern margin in Junggar Basin.The results show that the oil-gas play can be divided into two types of oil play(above-source oil play and inner-source oil play) in Wu-xia fault belt.Three types of hydrocarbon accumulation mode are early inner source-rock accumulation reservoir in which oil migrated by vertical fault,early nearly source-rock accumulation reservoir in which oil migrated by horizontal sand-body and unconformity,later far source-rock accumulation reservoir in which oil migrated by unconformity and fault.The key factors of the oil-gas accumulation are the development of structural trap and oil-source fault.Under the remaining pressure,oil migrates upward along oil-source fault and migrates laterally along unconformity surface and sand-body which provides adequate oil for hydrocarbon accumulation.
