Abstract

As the outcome of three networks conver gence,IPTV is becoming more popular because of its unique technical advantages.Sharing the similar business scope,the market promotion of IPTV is restricted by mature cable TV technology.The problems in regulation and rules also slow down its growth.With the technical innovation and the improvement of competition environment,IPTV is going to compete with cable TV,satellite TV and free-to-air TV,and form a new prospect of multi -channel transmission with mutual competition,mutual complementation and mutual promotion.
