Improvement of Market Access after China's Entry into WTO and the Orienation of Service-typeGovernment

After China's accession to the WTO,the domestic goods and service market will be open gradually according to the WTO rules, socialist market economy is to set up and standardize. Hence, we should improve the degree of market access and manage well the relation between government and enterprise. After joining the WTO,the main function of economic affairs for government in China will change to the serving -oriented one,which is an important issue in theory for the work orientation of government. The service-oriented government should be the government in macroeconomic adjustment and control,not the government in microeconomic command,should be the government of responsibility, not the government of power; should be the government of neutrality,not the government of interests. Only when this kind of government mechanism,which accords with WTO's conventional regulation,is set up,can our country really establish normative market economy,and further impel the development of reform and open-up of our country.
