Abstract

Network simulation is one of the efficient analysis tools to study the technology of communication networks. Employing an emulationcapability in network simulation provides the ability for real-world traffic to interact with a simulation. This paper firstly introduces the architectureof NS-2 simulator, and describes the design of simulation, emphatically analyzes the design and implementation of the emulation facility in the NS-2simulator.
