Abstract
The old data acquisition system of No.2 Ship Model Towing Tank of SSSRI has been aged,a precise and visual data acquisition system is meeded to meet the requirements of tank testing.The data acquisition card made by National Instrument is adopted in the new modified system.This system can continuously collect data such as ship model resistance,propeller model thrust and torque etc.and also can utilize communication transmission to collect speed data.The data processing and visual interfaces of the system are developed by VB programming.This system has been successfully applied in the No.2 towing tank of SSSRI and a considerable economy benefit has been gained.
