Abstract
Investigation of 690 under the column-against-column contact with normal loads of 50N and displacement amplitudes from 60μm to 150μm at normal room temperature is demonstrated in this paper.The fretting wear behavior and kinetic character of 690 materials were analyzed in combination with optical microscope (LCSM) and scanning electrical microscope (SEM).Experimental results show that normal loads and displacement amplitudes had significant effect on fretting character,the states of fretting are in gross slip regime .the wear scar area and fretting wear are large in slip regime.Abrasive wear and delimitation are main fretting wear mechanisms of Alloy690.
